Orders Picking

Order picking is the process of moving goods from different storage locations to dispatch/shipping area. Picking the correct item and quantity is critically important. Order picking is a labor-intensive activity, 50% of the warehouse staff is involved in picking activity. Picking should be done in high accuracy & productivity with less picking cycle time. Picking mistakes are difficult to catch, costly to correct and have an upsetting effect on quality.

1. Pick-by-voice: Voice guided picking which allows several pickers can work on a picking area in parallel.
2. RF-picking: (Radio Frequency) is a type of picking used in the manual area which reduces the number of manual entries to minimum.
